"State-Sponsored Terrorism"

I am not a political expert, but I am not an idiot either, and my current position on the planet gives me a little bit of perspective on the current crisis involving India, Pakistan, USA, and “State-Sponsored Terrorism” that you might not see on the US news.

The “countries” in this part of the world are very loose amalgamations of tribes, states, and communities, each with their own leadership and interests (West Bengal, where I currently am at, is controlled by the China-sponsored Communist Party, which the central government is scared to confront). The governments of the “countries” here have very little real power or control over much of the territory that they “govern”. There is a region in the northeast of India, known as the “Seven Sisters”, where the Indian government has absolutely no control, and very little presence. A recent bombing there that killed over 100 people is now believed to be homegrown, so doesn’t that make India a “sponsor of terrorism”, too?

The events in Mumbai a couple of weeks ago were well-planned and extremely effective, a real victory for those who planned the attacks and sent the young men to commit the crimes. It is becoming apparent that some - if not all - of the perpetrators were from Pakistan. The US Government is pointing their angry finger at Pakistan for supporting terrorism. This is the same Pakistan that W used like a cheap whore for several years, so that he could carry out his murderous rage on two sovereign nations. Now that Pakistan is no longer a necessary partner in his evil plans, he can send his zombie over here to call them a state sponsor of terrorism and give them some sort of ultimatum that will probably lead to another war, which Obama has already alluded to as a possibility - if not a probability - in his pending tenure.

When it was discovered that all of the perpetrators in Oklahoma City were American, did other countries call us a “sponsor of terrorism”, and demand “transparency”? There are still plenty of loonies and “militias” and “separatists” in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Alaska, and other ass-backwards parts of our country (one was almost elected Vice President). Shouldn’t we be arresting and torturing them, the same way we are demanding Pakistan to do?

What you are probably not being shown on the US news is that there have also been two massive terrorist attacks in Pakistan over the last couple of months (one was just two days ago). Hundreds of innocent people have died there, too. The central government there is having the same difficulties that governments everywhere have - if someone is willing to die while killing innocent people, and plans carefully, it is almost impossible to stop them.

Indians and Pakistanis have a mutual respect for each other. They understand that they both have corrupt and impotent governments, which have little real control over the population. Now the Indian Government - which the US Government (and the West, in general) has paid precious little attention to over the last couple of decades - is getting all blustery and big-headed with all of this sudden US interest and support. The perennial wallflower has finally been asked out to the big dance.

It’s politicking, plain and simple. China and Russia have been courting India aggressively lately, and the US Government wants to put a stop to it. The US Government also realizes that by bringing “Democracy” to Pakistan (like they have done
so successfully in Afghanistan and Iraq), they will be that much closer to surrounding our apparent “mortal enemy” Iran. This is why we are showing so much concern for Georgia, you can strike Teheran from there. How long before Turkmenistan becomes a “sponsor of terrorism” and begins receiving “ultimatums”?

In the meantime, Saudi Arabia - the most vile and cruel and corrupt nation on the planet - is our best friend. Most - if not all - of the 9/11 attackers were from there. Why were they not given ultimatums? Why didn’t we bring them “Democracy”?

And what about Sudan, where over a million people have been tortured to death, and the suffering continues? Don’t they deserve “Democracy”, too?

And don’t even get me started on Israel.

So W, that little pin-head who is responsible for more death, destruction, and suffering on innocent people than all of the “terrorist” acts in history, is calling out Pakistan and making unrealistic demands and ultimatums, and India is the little guy standing behind him going “yeah” and looking angry with his arms folded.

So who exactly is the “State-Sponsored Terrorist” here anyway?
